US adds 25 jets of Russian airlines to list of violators

WASHINGTON, Aug 2 (PRIME) -- The U.S. has added 25 Airbus jets of Russian airlines Nordwind, Pobeda, Red Wings, S7 and Ural Airlines to the list of violators of export control measures, the Department of Commerce said in a statement on Tuesday.

The department earlier published a list of 100 jets violating the U.S. restrictions. Servicing of the jets requires a special permit.
